Area music, health displays and dialogue camera controls

The 2011 update improves location music, proportional health numbers and camera controls during supported dialogue panes.

Automatic location music in the 2011 world follows custom portal travel and movement between overlapping areas. Regular Falador uses Fanfare; the native sound pipeline and existing music preferences remain in place.

At level 99, full health displays 99 instead of 990. Displayed damage, healing and absorption use the same proportional scale, including small fractions. Larger boss values remain proportionally larger. Monster Examine health and maximum-hit text and the Overload warning follow that scale too. Internal health, damage, healing, skill levels and XP are unchanged.

Talking to Durial321 still starts the supplied theme at 0:57. It plays once and returns to normal area music when it ends. It also stops when a new location soundtrack takes over.

Camera dragging is enabled in the supported native NPC dialogue and choice panes. Message entry, search panes, unknown modal groups and native camera locks keep their input protections. Ending a camera drag does not send a dialogue-choice click.

Both eras are reached at clinescape.com. The former rs.callcline.net and osrs.callcline.net game addresses are retired; www.clinescape.com leads to the main address. Existing characters, progress and roles stay in their worlds. CallCline Technology keeps its separate business and media identity.

The release is verified through installed-file checks, native and compiled-client fixtures, and representative public pages. Physical-phone gameplay, speaker playback, logged-in dialogue-camera interaction, every portal and every health interface remain pending individual acceptance.

Free magic and ranged supplies in twelve towns

Rune Stands and Bow tables bring free runes, magic equipment, ranged gear and ammunition to twelve existing RS2011 town hubs.

Each hub now has a Rune Stand and a Bow table: twenty-four tables in total, including the original Lumbridge Rune Stand. Find them in Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, Al Kharid, Draynor Village, Edgeville, Port Sarim, Catherby, East Ardougne, Yanille, Rellekka and Seers' Village.

Choose Take-runes at a Rune Stand for the twenty rune types, with 100, 1,000, 10,000 or a custom positive quantity. The same stand also offers staves, wands, magic robes and accessories.

Choose Take-bow at a Bow table for bows and crossbows, ranged armour and accessories, and arrows and bolts. More supplies also opens the magic equipment and rune catalogs; More choices pages through each list.

The free catalogs top up equipment to one copy and runes or ammunition to 10,000 total, counting what you already carry, wear or keep in your bank. Repeated top-ups preserve your existing items. Backpack space, bank space and safe stack limits still apply; normal native wielding and spell requirements remain, with no levels or quest progress granted.

More free gear. Better ways to train.

Free outfitters in 12 towns, useful kits and journeys for all 25 skills, restored combat effects and three main spellbooks at your fingertips.

Meet 36 free outfitters across Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, Al Kharid, Draynor Village, Edgeville, Port Sarim, Catherby, East Ardougne, Yanille, Rellekka and Seers’ Village. The CallCline Weaponsmith offers melee, ranged and magic gear, ammunition, runes, food and potions. The CallCline Shieldmaster has boots, amulets, shields, rings and gloves. The Third Age Knight keeps his armour sets and adds capes, earned skillcapes and hoods.

Talk to a training coach and choose All 25 skills, then Get my kit and take me to train. Your kit follows your actual levels, with useful carried supplies and generous bank reserves. Hunter starts beside crimson swifts, moves to grey chinchompas at 53 and red chinchompas at 63. Smithing lands beside Varrock anvils; Fishing uses real river or coastal spots. New Herblore learners meet Kaqemeex to begin Druidic Ritual. Construction keeps the existing practice workbench. Native equipment and activity checks remain in place; collecting a kit grants no levels or quest progress.

Supply top-ups count what you already carry, wear and bank. Existing items are kept, and supplies that do not fit are never dropped or substituted. Collect required tools from your bank before travelling. The five Lumbridge coaches now stand on the open arrival side of the castle wall.

Missing legacy weapon swing effects have been restored, together with cast and impact effects for the staged Ice Barrage scene. Your separate native sound and music settings still apply. A narrow fix also prevents a burst or barrage miss from stopping world updates.

The world and controls have responded during checks after recovery. Spell casting after recovery, live battleaxe combat, physical phone play and speaker listening checks remain pending.

Open Magic and swipe horizontally across the visible spell list to choose Standard, Ancient or Lunar, or use Previous and Next with a mouse or keyboard. Main-book selection is available immediately; casting uses native rune, level and spell-specific checks. Quest progress is unchanged, while Daemonheim and temporary Spellbook Swap keep their existing rules.

Turn the camera through 360 degrees with one finger, combine two-finger camera rotation and tilt with pinch zoom, and swipe anywhere inside scrollable music, emote and other menus. Taps, long presses, keyboard and desktop controls remain available.

Durial321 and his decorative performers continue their harmless scene in central Falador. Talk to him for background Planet Hell from 0:57, with no YouTube player. It plays once, then normal area music returns unless muted. Your mute choice stays yours; use Play Planet Hell if your browser needs a tap. Talk again to play it again. The scene deals no damage, freezes no players and changes no PvP or loot rules.

A livelier Falador plaza

A familiar green partyhat, a harmless Ice Barrage scene and smoother touch camera turns in the heart of Falador.

Durial321 now roams the central plaza with two dedicated guards and four decorative townspeople. His familiar outfit returns with a green partyhat, white hair, Ahrim robes, abyssal whip, obsidian shield and fire cape. Watch the staged attacks and Ice Barrage effects: the performers are decorative, with no player damage, freezing or item loss. Falador’s ordinary guards keep their normal jobs.

Talk to him to hear Planet Hell by Nightwish in the background from 0:57. It plays once while you explore, then normal area music returns unless you have chosen to mute it. Talk again to start it again. If your browser needs permission, tap Play Planet Hell. This replaces the earlier bank-side video player.

Touch camera panning now keeps turning through repeated full rotations and direction changes. Start a camera drag in the world view, then keep dragging; pinch zoom and the usual desktop controls remain available.

Visit Falador

CALLCLINE 2011 · WORLD UPDATE

New gestures. An old Falador memory.

Move the camera, browse your menus, and stop for a familiar scene near Falador bank.

Swipe the world with one finger to turn the camera. Use two fingers to turn and tilt while pinching to zoom. Swipe inside a scrolling menu, including its text and empty space, to browse music, emotes, quests and other long lists. Tap normally to choose an entry; hold still for the game’s right-click menu.

Durial321 and two dedicated guards now stage a harmless tribute near Falador bank. Their exchange is only a scene: there is no player attack option, damage or item loss, and Falador’s ordinary guards keep their normal jobs.

Talk to Durial321 for a visible Planet Hell player featuring Nightwish’s original recording. If it waits for permission, tap Play. The song plays once, then your normal area music returns unless you have chosen to mute it. You can keep exploring while the player is open, or close it whenever you like. Talk again for one fresh player. Playback depends on YouTube and your browser’s permission.

41,000 reasons to keep adventuring

In memory of the legendary Mogar41, every positive XP award now starts at 41,000.

Larger awards stay larger. This is a minimum award, rather than a multiplier; equipment and activity requirements still apply. The same tribute and minimum apply to the 2004 world.

Unlimited run energy keeps exploration moving. Lumbridge skill guides offer tools, supplies and training journeys; boss gateways introduce the encounter before you leave. Travel jewellery leads to smaller themed stops in other towns.

Each world keeps its own era’s destinations and native skill, quest and entry rules.

Here’s to the adventures, the laughs, and the legends who make a world feel like home.

Your quest journal now tells the full story

The Wizard now completes your quests along with your 300 quest points, so the journal and quest requirements recognise them properly.

Talk to the Wizard at (3225, 3216) in Lumbridge and choose “Complete my quests.” The completion update sets the quest states used by green journal entries and quest-dependent access and equipment.

If you already claimed full quest points, log out and back in once to receive the repair. New and partially completed characters keep their current quest progress unless they choose the Wizard's completion option.

Your items, bank and earned XP are preserved, and quest rewards are not granted again. Skill requirements remain: the dragon longsword still needs Attack 60. Once you have 300 quest points, the Wizard also offers “Give me the quest cape.”

Safe sparring is one portal away

Step from Lumbridge into the safe free-for-all arena, with a protected lobby, bank and return portal close at hand.

Enter the safe arena portal at (3218, 3216) in Lumbridge, then choose “Enter the safe lobby.” Finish any combat and dismiss or bank your familiar and its items before entering.

The lobby is your place to prepare. Cross north over the line when you are ready to fight. There is no staking, and defeat does not drop your equipment or inventory inside the safe arena. Food, ammunition, runes and charges still follow their normal rules.

Bank at (2812, 5509), or use the return portal at (2818, 5509) to head back to Lumbridge. The Wilderness and dangerous free-for-all areas retain their normal rules.

Ancient armour. Modern hospitality.

Free weapons and shields, a roaming Third Age Knight, and a rune stand with custom quantities make Lumbridge a useful first stop.

Browse the weapon supplier for an abyssal whip, godswords, dragon weapons, bows and staves. The shield supplier offers shields and defenders, including the uncharged dragonfire shield. Normal equipment requirements still apply.

Find the Third Age Knight near (3219, 3212) for melee armour, ranger armour or mage robes. Friendly Barrows suppliers and armour merchants are also waiting around Lumbridge. Equipment suppliers fill in missing pieces after checking your inventory, worn equipment and bank.

Choose from 20 rune types at the stand at (3220, 3214). Take 100, 1,000 or 10,000, or enter a custom quantity. Supplies go to your bank if they cannot fit in your inventory and there is enough bank space.

Less grinding. More adventuring.

Positive XP awards have a 25,000 XP minimum, with larger awards preserved. Your next training session just got a little more generous.

This 6 October training rate was superseded by the 41,000 XP Mogar41 tribute on 8 October.

Train through normal gameplay with a minimum of 25,000 XP for each positive XP award. It is a minimum award rather than a multiplier; bigger awards remain bigger, and skill requirements still matter.

Stop by CallCline's Wise Old Man while you are in Lumbridge. Each conversation pairs a different technical term with some CallCline praise. He knows his quests, his kit and a suspicious amount about IT.

High graphics, native music and a clearer way to get into the 2011 client.

The browser client now starts with High graphics, the OpenGL/WebGL2 renderer, and full music, sound-effect and area-volume settings. The initial Auto Setup screen is skipped. Use the in-game Options wrench whenever you want to change those settings.

Native RuneScape title music is restored. Tap or click inside the game to allow browser audio, and give the original instruments a moment to load.

On a phone, tap the native Login or Password field to type. Hold a finger still for the game’s right-click menu, drag to turn the camera, and pinch to zoom. The floating keyboard and fullscreen buttons have been removed.
